Photo Caption Contest: Man On Rug
The day has arrived, as promised, for the second photo caption contest. This round, we are giving away a pair of Moroccan lanterns, compliments of my dad. They are great for the garden or patio and they add a nice touch indoors as well. Just pop in a tea light!
It must be said that there are cobwebs on the inside of both of these. I am debating whether I should clean them out or let them stay so that they have a sufficient old world appeal when they arrive at the winner’s door.
Now that I’ve whet your appetite, here are the rules.
1. To submit a caption, check out the photo at the bottom of this post and enter your caption in the comment box. Use a pseudonym if you wish, but you must include your email address in the appropriate box of the comment section. I am the only one who can see the email addresses. They will not be published and will only be used to contact the winner to arrange for prize delivery.
2. Enter as frequently as you’d like through Monday, January 27. Multiple entries are encouraged.
3. To be eligible to win, you must have a US mailing address or live in Rabat.
Winners will be posted here Wednesday the 29th. First place gets the pair of lanterns. As was the case last time, other winners get a virtual pat on the back.
Judging this round will be by Pastor Jack and his wife Annie. For those who haven’t heard me gush yet, Annie has written a book. A very good book. And I don’t just say that because she’s my friend. I say that because it’s a really good book. It’s an allegory about marriage that has been hugely encouraging to me (and Matt read it twice). Since this is my pastor, let’s keep it clean this round.
And finally, without further delay, here is the photo. Get to it!
